She’s the former Bachelorette who has always been open about her skin struggles.

And on Tuesday, Angie Kent shared a photo to Instagram of her makeup-free visage while suffering from a skin pigmentation flare-up over the Christmas period.

‘Pre Christmas Instagram game was strong… versus post-Christmas comedown reality,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘Swollen, unfiltered, absolute hormonal pigment flare up all over my face.

‘Extremely fragile knowing another Christmas has gone and I’ve got to sort my s**t out for 2021, and let go of a lot of pain and embrace the lessons.’

Pigmentation is a common skin condition which often occurs due to hormonal changes and fluctuations, and can be triggered by UV light from the sun.

Angie has been honest about her battles with bad skin in the past.

She undergoes facial treatments to help with acne scarring, in addition to getting Botox injections to prevent fine lines.

Angie told The Daily Telegraph last year: ‘I am not going to lie, I have dabbled in Botox.

‘I love me some Botox and I have suffered with acne scars so I am all about getting skin treatments, but don’t expect me to get a boob job. I am quite happy with my little breasts.’
