Marvin and Rochelle Humes have won their battle to build a swimming pool at their £3.3million north London mansion.
The TV presenters sparked a row with a neighbour over plans to splash out on the 12mx6m outdoor pool and covered hot tub at their luxury new build.
Their neighbour, whose home backs on to the Humes’ property, fired off a letter to the local council over fears of noise from a plant room for the private leisure facility at the luxury pad.

He wrote: ‘We do not want to have potential noise pollution from the continual hum day and night of the pool machinery in our very quiet and peaceful garden.
‘We have lived in our house for 28 years and it would be a shame to have our garden spoilt by this. The noise would not affect [them] as it is a distance from the house but it would impact on us.’
Former JLS singer Marvin, 35, and ex-Saturdays singer Rochelle, 31, bought the nine-bedroom neo-Georgian pad in the summer. It boasts seven bathrooms, four reception rooms, his and hers dressing rooms, an internal lift and a 161ft garden.
Planners at Barnet Council gave the go-ahead for the pool on the condition that noise from the plant room is five decibels less than background noise a metre from any of the neighbour’s windows.

Case officer Radhika Bedi ruled: ‘If the noise emitted from the pool plant has a distinguishable, descrete continuous note (whine, hiss, screech, hum) and/or distinct impulse (bangs, clicks, clatters, thumps) then it shall be at least 10 decibels below the background level, as measured from any point one metre outside the window of any room of a neighbouring property.’
In a separate application, the couple were refused planning permission for a new boundary 1m-high wall and entrance gates after they were deemed a ‘dominant and incongruous addition’, and out of keeping with the area.
Last year, they won a three-year battle to build a gym, dance studio, Jacuzzi and steam room at their former six-bed home in Essex.
The planning permission comes amid a flurry of joyous news for the couple, who welcomed the birth of their adorable son Blake in October.

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Marvin and Rochelle took their baby son on his first family holiday as they jetted off for a festive break in Dubai.
Rochelle took to Instagram to share a gallery of snaps from the first few days of their getaway with Blake and daughters Alaia, seven, and Valentina, three.
Singer-turned-presenter Rochelle announced on Easter Sunday in April that she was expecting her third child and shared a sweet post to her Instagram.
The Saturdays star posted a picture of a board which said: ‘We’re eggspecting baby Humes’ and revealed that the due date was October. It was decorated with a baby chick, eggs, a knitted cardigan, leaves and a dummy.
Later in April, the star announced she was expecting a baby boy and Marvin is thrilled to be getting some ‘back-up’ in their all-female household.
Marvin and Rochelle tied the knot during a romantic ceremony at Oxfordshire’s grand Blenheim Palace in July 2012.
