Nadia Bartel ‘squealed’ after discovering Rosie Huntington-Whiteley follows her label HENNE

Nadia Bartel couldn’t believe her luck when she discovered Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a fan of her fashion label, HENNE.

In a post on Instagram Stories on Monday, the 35-year-old fashion designer and former football WAG admitted she freaked out when she saw Rosie was following HENNE on Instagram.

Nadia confessed the 33-year-old model is her ‘style icon’ and described the discovery as a ‘total fan girl moment’.

‘Okay not going to lie… I squealed when I saw that my style icon Rosie was following @henne_ not sure how she found us but I like it, total fan girl moment,’ she wrote.

She also included a screenshot of Rosie’s Instagram page with the ‘follow back’ icon displayed prominently in the top left corner.   

In an interview with Business Chicks, Nadia offered advice to other women who were looking to start their own business.

‘The best advice I can give is “just start”. Once you start you then have the momentum to keep going,’ she said. 

‘I know how hard it can be to start, but I noticed with my businesses that when I finally did, the rest just followed on a lot easier than I expected.’

Speaking about her own style influences, Rosie told HELLO! magazine that she often turns to social media for inspiration.

She also listed Vogue Paris editor Emmanuelle Alt and actress Diane Kruger as her personal style icons.    

‘Emmanuelle Alt, the editor of Vogue Paris. She has perfect off-duty style – relaxed, cool and chic,’ she explained.

‘Diane Kruger is always flawless on the red carpet and is never afraid of taking a risk.’
