Sharon Osbourne has returned home after successfully recovering from COVID-19 and after she was released from a brief stay in hospital.
The TV personality, 68, was forced to self-isolate after testing positive for the respiratory illness and is delighted to be reunited with her family just days before Christmas.
Sharing a candid photo on Thursday of husband Ozzy Osbourne wearing a mask on the sofa alongside five puppies, she wrote: ‘Got the OK to go home after two negative test results and look at the joy waiting for me!

Her comments come almost 10 days after she revealed she had tested positive for coronavirus, and was recuperating away from her husband, 72.
She tweeted at the time: ‘I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19. After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy. (sic)’

Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy, has Parkinson’s disease and coupled with his age, this puts him at a higher risk should he be exposed to COVID-19.
Speaking with GQ last month, the star also said of his preexisting conditions: ‘I’ve got emphysema, so if I get this virus, I’m f****d.’
Sharon’s friend Piers Morgan sent his well wishes to her on last Tuesday’s episode of Good Morning Britain.
He told viewers: ‘Just want to say good wishes to my old mate Sharon Osbourne. She’s in hospital with coronavirus. Ozzy is isolating.

‘She says she feels like she’s been beaten up but she’ll be fine in a couple of weeks so best wishes to Sharon.’
One of her co-hosts on the program, Carrie Ann Inaba, said earlier in December that she tested positive in an Instagram post, saying she suffered ‘lots of aches and pains’ and a coughing fever ahead of the test, which sidelined her from the CBS show for a week.
Sheryl Underwood said during the broadcast last Thursday: ‘As you can see, Carrie Ann is not here with us today … she found out this morning that she tested positive for COVID-19.
‘Obviously, our thoughts are with her, we love her, and we’re praying for a full recovery. And, out of an abundance of caution, Mrs. O will be doing the show from home today, even though she tested negative for the coronavirus.’

Sharon said on the show: ‘I send all my love and prayers to Carrie Ann.’
Back in September, Sharon said she quarantined from The Talk after her three-year-old granddaughter Minnie tested positive for COVID-19.
The star told her fellow panellists that her relatives were in good health amid the family scare, including her son Jack – Minnie’s father – who is living with multiple sclerosis.
‘I was meant to be in the studio, I was so looking forward to it,’ Osbourne said while appearing remotely on the show.

‘And then, unfortunately, one of my granddaughters has come down with COVID. She’s okay; she’s doing good. I don’t have it.’
‘Her daddy doesn’t have it. Her mommy doesn’t have it. Her sisters don’t. She got it from somebody who works for my son. And it just goes to show you, she’s three years of age, that children can get COVID.’
Despite the setback, Sharon said her heart was with The Talk on it’s 11th season debut, but she was acting out of caution amid the pandemic and following safety protocols.
‘Oh my Lord, I want to see you guys so bad,’ she said. ‘I’ve got one more week left of quarantining and then I’m out.

‘And as I say, I don’t have it. I keep testing negative, but, you know, you have to be safe.’
Sheryl Underwood asked Sharon: ‘Sharon, did Jack ask about me? He may need me to come and quarantine with him.’
She replied that Jack was, ‘equally as upset because he was planning on coming to the studio with me just to wish you good luck.’
Sharon’s announcement comes as the talk show has concluded its production for the remainder of 2020.
The show is slated to undergo some personnel changes, with Eve and Marie Osmond leaving, with incoming replacements Elaine Welteroth and Amanda Kloots (who lost her husband Nick Cordero at 42 to coronavirus complications this past July).
