Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez lead stars gearing up for Christmas

With the coronavirus pandemic still in full swing, many have been forced to celebrate the holiday season without their closest friends and family by their side.

But some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, such as Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez, made things a little less lonely by giving fans a peek into their quarantined Christmas prep on social media. 

Carey, who is deemed the ‘Queen Of Christmas,’ shared a video of herself whipping up a ‘fresh batch of cookies for Santa tonight’ in her spacious kitchen.

She joked in her post’s caption that she was also ‘freezing some [of her cookies] for Cupid lol)’

Mariah, while pretending to mix ingredients together in a copper pot, donned a set of plaid pajamas featuring an animated version of her famous face.

The animated image, featuring a red santa hat and matching dress, was inspired by the cover art on Mariah’s beloved 1994 holiday album Merry Christmas. 

With her own version Sleigh Ride playing the background, Carey tapped her wooden spoon on the edge of her mixing bowl, which prompted a package of pre-made Mariah’s Cookies to appear.

With a package of her brand’s delicious chocolate chip cookies in hand, she approached the camera and bid farewell to her 9.8million Instagram followers.

Jennifer Lopez decked out her mug with a holiday-themed filter as she announced via Instagram Story that her and her family had ‘finished’ decorating their Christmas tree.

‘It’s a Tiffany’s Christmas,’ joked the hitmaker, 51, while capturing the striking spruce on film. 

Lopez’s Christmas tree featured a slew of snowflake shaped ornaments and a variety of pale blue bulbs. 

Jennifer, who will be celebrating the holiday with fiance Alex Rodriguez, 45, and their blended brood, wore a royal blue sweater and had her hair styled into a bun for the brief clip. 

Kelly Rowland, who is currently pregnant with her second child, shared her family’s stunning Christmas photo to Instagram.

‘Wishing you a beautiful holiday season and blessed New Year! – The Weatherspoons’ wrote the 39-year-old Destiny’s Child alum, who could be seen cradling her bump in the sweet snap.

While Kelly posed on the floor, her handsome husband Tim Weatherspoon stood upright with his hand resting on the shoulder of their six-year-old son Titan.

For the shoot, Rowland donned a glittering midi dress that perfectly encapsulated her bump, while the two men in her life wore solid black ensembles.

Gwen Stefani was clearly enamored with her holiday decorations this year as she shared a snapshot of her elaborately decorated Christmas tree.
