Ariel Winter keeps it casual during a pre-Christmas shopping run to Trader Joe’s in LA

She offloaded her previous Studio City residence last month for a brand new spot in the same neighborhood.

And just ahead of Christmas, Ariel Winter was spotted taking care of some last-minute errands on Wednesday, heading into a Trader Joe’s supermarket in Los Angeles, California.

The Modern Family star, who turns 23 at the end of next month, wore black Ugg-style boots and light gray leggings that showed off her shapely legs nicely.

On top, the actress donned a loose fitting off-white top.

Her black face covering said the word ‘Proud.’ in white on one side. 

Ariel‘s dyed blond hair was up in a loose bun. She wore a small black purse cross-body style across her 5ft1in frame.

Ariel wrapped up her career-making role as Alex Dunphy on Modern Family earlier this year.

The sitcom ran for a whopping 11 seasons from 2009 until this past April.

Ariel was 11 when the show began, which means the series run constituted half of her life.

Up next for Winter is the timely-sounding thriller Don’t Log Off.

Currently filming, the film’s synopsis on IMDb sets up a very 2020-appropriate premise: a birthday girl goes missing during her surprise Zoom party and it’s up to her friends to figure out what happened to her.

‘They must work remotely, using the technology at their disposal and individual trips to her apartment in order to unravel the clues.’ 

Although the plot summary doesn’t specifically name the coronavirus, it’s assumed the pandemic is an element within the film.

And on a personal note, Ariel recently sold her Studio City farmhouse for $2.8M, upgrading to a similarly styled spot in the same area for $3.5M.

Her new five bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom abode features a games lounge, walk-in closets, and privacy thanks to the surrounding tall and all-encompassing hedges.
