The Hollywood star grew up in Sydney’s Granville but moved to the US permanently in 2005.

He previously lived in a Venice home, but sold the property for $1.995 million in 2015, shortly after his divorce from Linda Kozlowski.

It’s unknown what he splashed out on his new pad, but Paul has remained in the trendy area of Venice to be close to his family.

Paul has been isolating in Los Angeles with his punk rocker son, Chance.

Chance’s mother is Paul’s ex-wife, actress Linda Kozlowski, who he married in 1990.

Keeping busy while in isolation, Paul released a no-holds barred autobiography, The Tap Dancing Knife Thrower.

The book, which has been released by HarperCollins Australia, details the highs and lows of his life – professionally and personally.

Paul told The Courier Mail in May he often expected someone to say: ‘What are you doing here? You’re just a bloody rigger.’

The actor added that ‘it’s about time’ he took a trip down memory lane.

‘Now that I’ve moved firmly into the fourth quarter, it’s about time I shared the stories behind the headlines and movie posters,’ he said.

‘Because more often than not in my life, fact has been funnier, and certainly stranger, than fiction’.
