Guy Ritchie and wife Jacqui lunch with Thor Björgólfsson and Kristín Ólafsdóttir in St Moritz

His month started on a particularly unpleasant note, when it was revealed that burglars had targeted his £10 million London home.

But Guy Ritchie, 52, appeared to have put all the drama behind him over the the weekend, when he and his wife Jacqui Ainsley, 39, were spotted on a relaxing break in Switzerland’s glitzy alpine resort town Saint Moritz.

The filmmaker and Jacqui were seen enjoying a double date with Icelandic entrepreneur Thor Bjorgoffson, 53, and his partner Kristín Ólafsdóttir.

Guy looked festive as he dined on a terrace in view of the snow-dusted mountains in a black-and-white St. Moritz-themed bobble hat and a bright red coat.

Meanwhile, mother-of-three Jacqui looked glam as she wrapped up in a cream quilted coat, which she teamed with a lilac bobble hat.

The group looked relaxed and happy as they chatted away while indulging in their lavish meal at one of the town’s many upscale eateries.

According to Swiss law, patrons are not permitted to dine at a resort unless they are booked guests.

Guy looked relaxed and in good spirits at the table following his sunny break in the Maldives after directing his upcoming action thriller Wrath of Man.

His break comes weeks after it was revealed that burglars rifled through rooms in his eight-bedroom Fitzrovia house, but left empty-handed as police rushed to the scene.

It is not known if the father-of-five – whose films include Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels – was home at the time of the raid.

The burglars were ‘seen by an occupant of the house,’ said a source, adding: ‘Very shortly afterwards the police turned up and the suspects legged it up the street and got away.’

Guy and his wife, who have been married since 2015 and share three children, split their time between the London home and their 18th-century estate in Wiltshire which was given to him as part of his divorce settlement with Madonna in 2008.

A burglar broke into the country mansion in 2010. A neighbour said yesterday: ‘This is shocking and always a worry when you hear of an incident like that.

‘We all hire private security companies to protect us. I pay £3,700 a month. That’s for private security to do walks at night and keep an eye out. They monitor the area.’

The neighbour told The Sun: ‘We believe organised criminals operate in the area and target these homes. It’s a very nice area.

‘We know we’re going to be a target. I hope the police can find the people responsible. We need to feel safe.’

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: ‘Detectives are investigating following a report of a burglary at a residential address in Fitzrovia. It is not believed anything was taken.’

Guy Ritchie’s representatives were approached for comment at the time.
