Gleb Savchenko’s estranged wife Elena Samodanova packs on the PDA with DWTS alum Vlad Kvartin

Gleb Savchenko’s estranged wife Elena Samodanova was seen kissing Vlad Kvartin, just one week after news of her ex’s romance with Cassie Scerbo made headlines.  

The 36-year-old choreographer, who filed for divorce from her husband of 14 years on Tuesday, appeared to be enjoying the single life in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico as she and her new man were seen locking lips — in photographs obtained by Page Six. 

While soaking up the sun on her romantic getaway, the Moscow-born beauty looked incredible in a black one-piece and red coverup.  

For their outing, Kvartin rocked a white fedora, patterned shirt and zebra-print shorts as they passionately kissed on the beach.    

Like Savchenko, 37, Samodanova’s new suitor is also a professional dancer with ties to Dancing with the Stars (DWTS)  and So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD.)

In addition to previously serving as a pro on DWTS Russia, he made it to the to top ten of male dancers on Season 16 of SYTYCD. 

Most recently, Kvartin has worked closely with the estranged couple at their dance studio, Pro Dance LA, which they opened together in July 2018, where he actively teaches virtual classes. 

Samodanova’s new relationship comes one month after she and Savchenko, who she shares daughters Zlata, three, and Olivia, nine, announced their separation. 

On Tuesday, she filed divorce papers at a Los Angeles courthouse, TMZ reported. 

Last week, the mother-of-two was said to be ‘p*ssed’ at seeing Gleb, 37, moving on with new girlfriend, Sharknado actress Cassie Scerbo.  

A rep for Gleb told Dailymail.com: ‘It is very convenient that hours after Elena was caught out kissing another man on a beach in Cabo that she has now decided to announce that she has filed for divorce.’ 

On November 6 Gleb broke the news of his split from Elena on his Instagram account, posting a statement alongside a photo of his family at the beach.

‘It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage,’ Gleb wrote in the caption.

We still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them. We ask that you respect our family’s need for privacy and healing during this time.’

Elena also announced the news on her Instagram stories, where she shared a photo of her and Gleb in happier times.

‘After 14 years of marriage with my deepest sadness our road is coming to an end,’ Elena wrote. She also posted a cryptic message about going back on one’s word.

Shortly after the announcement Elena accused the Dancing With The Stars pro of cheating on her more than once.

Elena’s allegations came at a time of swirling rumors that Russian-born Gleb had been flirting heavily with his DWTS partner, Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, which they both heavily denied.

It was revealed last week that Gleb has instead pursued a romance with Scerbo and he jetted off to Cabo San Lucas with the blonde Make It Or Break It star, along with pals Stause and fellow DWTS pro Keo Motsepe, who also revealed their romance earlier this month. 

‘Gleb has been dating Cassie for a few weeks now,’ a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday. ‘They are having fun together, it’s a fun and flirty time for them both.’

Elena expressed that she was agitated at her estranged husband while doing an Instagram Live last week.

When asked about the future of the dance studio they share, Elena replied, ‘We’ve tried to figure out … if we’re going to be running it together.

‘Not at this moment, I’m just too p*ssed at him,’ the choreographer added. ‘So I won’t be able to do anything at this moment. Maybe later.’ 

In her half-hour long video, Elena sounded bitter about the prospect of true love after her split.

She also said she was ‘used to being on [her] own,’ as she often had to care for the children exclusively because Gleb wouldn’t arrive home until late due to Dancing With The Stars rehearsals and performances.

‘I don’t know if Prince Charming exists anymore, it’s a fairy tale which I do not really believe anymore,’ she admitted. 

In her cooking Q&A, Elena said she couldn’t live with her husband’s alleged infidelities.

‘I’m not a quitter, I never give up. But the older we get, the less bulls**t I believe,’ she said. ‘Most men [are] like this… My advice [is] don’t give them a second chance. I gave [Gleb] a second, third, fourth, fifth chances and we never worked it out.

‘So don’t give him a second chance…’ she added, before recounting a Russian saying she was familiar with from her early days: ‘”It’s better to be alone than with someone who doesn’t deserve you.”‘

Gleb and Elena married in 2006, and share two young children.
