Dua Lipa rocks out in an edgy black leather dress and thigh-high boots as she sings her hits for Pandora Live

She wasn’t able to tour for her rapturously received sophomore album Future Nostalgia after releasing it amid coronavirus lockdowns in late March.

But Dua Lipa got a chance to perform some of her newest songs on Tuesday for the final Pandora Live performance of 2020 while also sitting down for an interview with Sirius XM’s Mikey Piff.

The 25-year-old English singer–songwriter admitted that her albums curtailed rollout in March was ‘scary,’ though she thought its escapist nature made it the perfect soundtrack for a year when responsible fans did their best to quarantine at home.

She opened her performance with her Top 40 hit Levitating, which was featured on Future Nostalgia and was released in August as a single.

The track was remixed twice, first by The Blessed Madonna in a version featuring new vocals from Madonna and Missy Elliott, though a second version featuring an intro and a new verse from rapper Da Baby was the bigger hit in the US.

After the performance, the livestream cut to her interview, with Piff asking her how she felt after getting six Grammy nominations this year and winning Best New Artist at least year’s ceremony.

‘Nothing like that quite settles in. It’s very much a “pinch-me moment” each day,’ she gushed, adding that ‘It’s such an honor.’
