Celebrities in lockdown on Sydney’s northern beaches

A whole host of celebrities have been plunged into lockdown in their homes over the festive period, following an outbreak of coronavirus in Sydney’s northern beaches.

Numerous stars have been forced to stay in their properties and are unable to leave until New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian says it is safe to do so. 

According to the Daily Telegraph, The Mentalist star Simon Baker is currently on the northern beaches and has been staying with a friend while he house-hunts.  

Nicole Kidman’s sister Antonia also resides in the northern beaches.

Antonia, like all Australians, has grappled with the challenges of life in a COVID-19 world for some time now. 

Over the past few months, the stylish 50-year-old has been documenting life with her husband Craig and their family amid the pandemic. 

She recently shared a picture to Instagram of Craig and four of their children sitting at the dining table, working on laptops or writing on school worksheets. 

‘Today’s office,’ Antonia captioned the post.

It will also be a luxury lockdown for Richard Roxburgh, star of the TV show Rake, and his wife Silvia Colloca.

They live in an oceanfront Newport home which they snapped up in October 2015, for $2.87million. 

In January, the celebrated actor admitted he cannot be apart from his wife of 16-years for more than seven weeks at a time. 

‘We have a rule my, wife and I, about not spending more than seven weeks apart for the family,’ Richard said. ‘I go insane and it becomes just unconscionable.’ 

The couple married in 2004 and share three children: Raphael, 12, Miro, nine, and Luna, two.
