He later took a stroll through the busy streets with his purchases in hand.

The project has reportedly been in development since the release of the previous film in the series, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

Ford is widely known for his role as ship captain Han Solo that he has reprised over several films in the Star Wars franchise, most recently in 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which he went uncredited in.

In 2015 series costar Mark Hamill gave an interview with Empire where he spoke about his cast mate’s behavior during filming, including an instance where he had to calm down Ford when took a saw to the set of the Millennium Falcon.

He added: ‘People were coming up to me going, “You gotta stop Harrison, he’s sawing up the Falcon.” It was made of wood and he just took a saw to it. I love Harrison. I got to stop him because I can make him laugh when he gets really, really mad.’

Hamill also noted that Ford’s professional demeanor was dropped when the two were relaxing together.

And that the actor takes himself much less seriously than most people would expect.

‘He has this really specific way he wants to be seen, and I think that’s too bad because he’s really funny. He’s got a wonderfully wacky sense of humor,’ he added.

Ford’s recent projects include the adventure film Call Of The Wild, which was released in February.

The film was based on the Jack London novel of the same name, and costarred Omar Sy, Karen Gillan and Dan Stevens; while the performance of the actors was praised, the CGI used for the animals was panned as looking unnatural.
