Kate Hudson shares adorable snap with her daughter Rani Rose during a nighttime stroll through their neighborhood

Kate Hudson appears to be keeping her family close to her during the holiday season. 

The 41-year-old posted a photo to her Instagram account on Monday which featured her daughter Rani Rose, aged two.

The Almost Famous actress was pictured having a relaxing nighttime walk with her third child strapped to her back.

Hudson was seen bundled up in a cozy patterned blanket that wrapped around her whole body and managed to keep Rani comfortable at the same time. 

She could also be seen wearing a fuzzy black bucket hat that ensured that her head stayed warm during a chilly winter night.

The actress and businesswoman allowed her luscious blonde locks to fall down onto her shoulders.

The caption for the photo read: ‘Night time stroll enjoying our neighborhood Christmas lights.’

Rani Rose, born in 2018, is Hudson’s first child with her partner Danny Fujikawa.

The two have been romantically linked since 2016 but they were reportedly introduced to each other when the actress was in her early twenties. 

Hudson welcomed her first child, 16-year-old Ryder Russell, with her former husband Chris Robinson, whom she was married to from 2000 until 2007.

She later began a relationship with Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy which lasted from 2010 until 2014, and the two co-parent their son Bingham Hawn, aged nine.

In an interview with AOL, Hudson described how her upbringing in a family with multiple brothers has influenced the way that she is raising Rani, who is in the same situation as her mother.

She noted: ‘Growing up as a girl with all boys, you end up with a thick skin. You really do. People say, “Oh, your brothers must’ve really protected you.” And I’m like, “They threw me right into the fire!”‘ 

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress also spoke about the differences in raising her daughter as opposed to the techniques that she utilized in bringing up her two sons, and felt that there was a different standard to be met for Rani’s growth.  

‘I did pretty good with the boys…But with her it’s a whole other ball game,’ she said.
