Charlize Theron zooms in luxe Porsche Macan in Beverly Hills after workout ahead of holiday week

Charlize Theron was snapped leaving a Beverly Hills gym in a Porsche Macan on Sunday.

The 45-year-old actress sported wavy blonde hair and a black top as she made her way out of a parking facility adjacent to her work out location.

The Oscar-winning Monster star spoke earlier this week with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, detailing how 2020 has shaped her as a person amid the COVID-19 pandemic and a social sea change in the wake of the George Floyd killing.

‘The first thing that comes to mind is how complacently I’ve been living in a society where systemic racism has been alive and well,’ the Atomic Blonde actress told the outlet.

She continued: ‘It’s not just about the unnecessary amount of violence around police brutality, but the bigger picture of how we are all living in a system that is set up to keep [African and African-American] people in a place where, when we ask them to live to their full potential as individuals, and it’s really an impossible task; we’re setting them up for failure.’

The South African actress said that the year has given people the focus ‘to take a real inventory, look at ourselves and [address] the things that we don’t think about; and ‘asking ourselves bigger questions that go deeper.

‘That’s really been at the forefront for me, just asking myself more questions and educating myself as much as I possibly can.’

Theron, who is mother to daughters Jackson, nine, and August, five, has focused much of her philanthropic attention on causes including HIV education, women’s empowerment and stopping gender-based violence.

She told the outlet she follows her gut on which causes she focuses her time and attention to.

‘There’s a human element and a reaction to things that you just naturally will have,’ said Theron. ‘We all respond to things differently.’

The United Nations Messenger of Peace continued: ‘When something is really emotionally tough for you, you know that it matters to you – that’s something I’ve always listened to. I don’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t trying to use my voice for something that mattered to me.

‘You realize the things that are important in your life, and you realize the things where it’s important for you to try to be part of a change; that’s how I gauge my involvement.’
