Nova host Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and his family flee Sydney for Adelaide

Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and his family joined the hordes of people desperate to get out of Sydney via the domestic airport on Saturday.

The 44-year-old radio presenter, and his wife, Belinda, took safety precautions as they arrived into Adelaide with their two sons Hewy, 10, and Lenny, six.

The Nova host wore a grey printed t-shirt which he paired with black denim shorts and brown sneakers.

Meanwhile, Belinda opted for comfort in a grey singlet top which she paired with a blue denim jacket and grey tracksuit.

She showed off her natural complexion and appeared to be wearing minimal makeup for the outing. 

Belinda completed her look wearing white sneakers.

The family of four were seen walking through the arrivals terminal, pushing their luggage while Ryan chatted to his long-time wife.

Ryan and his family are believed to have travelled to visit his parents for the holidays.

The sighting comes as Sydney has recorded 30 new cases of coronavirus with 28 linked to a cluster on the Northern Beaches. 

The new findings have also prompted states Victoria and Queensland to shut their borders to Sydneysiders amid fears millions of families’ Christmas could be ruined. 

South Australia is requiring anyone arriving from Greater Sydney after 11.59pm on Sunday to self-quarantine for 14 days. 

Anyone who has entered on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be asked to get tested but does not have to self-isolate for two weeks. 

Both states have already banned Northern Beaches residents.
