Hollywood star Zac Efron is believed to be spending New Year’s Eve on Hamilton Island, one of the picturesque Whitsunday Islands in Queensland.
Sources say the Baywatch actor, 33, will be celebrating the end of 2020 at Qualia, a luxurious resort surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef.
The resort offers panoramic views of the Coral Sea and Whitsundays, and its beach house suite – where Zac is rumoured to be staying – costs $7,190 a night.

The suite has a private infinity pool and its secluded location makes it the perfect place to enjoy the ultimate end-of-year getaway.
The beach house features a main bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, as well as a separate guesthouse for friends.
There is also a spacious entertaining area, a large dining room and a private sundeck with breathtaking water views.

Zac, who is dating Byron Bay waitress Vanessa Valladares, recently left South Australia, where he was filming Stan Original movie Gold.
While it’s not known where the cast and crew are located now, they were previously staying 400km away from Adelaide, near Leigh Creek.
The former coal-mining town had a population of just 245 in 2016, and offers little besides a railway station and camel-back tours through the nearby town of Beltana.
Zac and the crew have also filmed scenes in private properties around the 16-person town of Parachilna.
Parachilna, which is five hours north of Adelaide, is so small that visitors can walk from one side to the other in minutes.

Production was briefly halted at the end of November when Adelaide was declared a coronavirus hotspot, but resumed once the lockdown was lifted.
Zac took over the lead role from Sam Worthington, who was originally slated to star in the movie. It also features actors Susie Porter and Anthony Hayes.
Gold will be airing on Stan in 2021
