‘I’m like a greased pig!’ Henry Cavill can’t help but laugh after being covered in baby oil for a scene in hilarious bloopers from The Witcher
Netflix unveiled bloopers from The Witcher’s first season on Saturday.
The streaming service revealed the hilarious clip of antics with fans via Twitter, after they voted in a ‘Witchmas’ poll to decide if Netflix released the video or something mysterious if they chose the ‘law of surprise’.
After it was revealed fans wanted to see bloopers, a short clip of mishaps was posted which featured several amusing occurrences with the show’s star Henry Cavill, including one where he was covered in baby oil like a ‘greased pig’.

The blooper saw Henry stare up at the camera while acting as Geralt of Rivia, and he joked the bedding he was lying on was moving because he had been covered in too much baby oil.
Speaking to those standing behind the camera before the scene, he joked: ‘It moves by itself. I’m like a greased pig right now.’
A member of the crew could be heard saying he looked like ‘a sexy greased pig.’
In another blooper, Henry was seen fighting off the Striga from the show’s third episode and as he threw it off camera the prop could be heard hitting something in the background which made the star break character and laugh in amusement.

Henry also found himself fumbling over his lines in an outtake from the show’s fourth episode, in which his character attended the betrothal feast of Princess Pavetta.
As he got into the groove of the scene, Henry said stoically: ‘At least when Filavandrel’s blade kissed my throat I didn’t s**t myself… is more than I can say for you…’
Realising his error, Henry stopped himself and smiled before he said: ‘S**t that’s not the right line.’
There were also amusing antics that weren’t due to Henry, as one scene he shared with his horse saw the animal relieve its bowels in the background.

A member of the crew informed Henry what was happening, as he said: ‘You mind doing that again, the horse is s***ting in the background.’
Henry just laughed at the mishap as he returned to his mark from the start of the scene as another member of the crew called for ‘one more’ take.
It wasn’t only Henry who suffered through a few amusing bloopers, as MyAnna Buring was seen dancing to herself while dressed as the Rectoress of Aretuza, Tissaia de Vries.
While a scene with Lars Mikkelsen’s mage Stregobor went wrong as he dropped an apple mid scene, and fumbled over his words in another, to which Henry joked he had been ‘good’.
