Denise Van Outen crams in some Christmas shopping in a captain’s hat and fur-lined army coat… hours before Tier 4 sees all stores forced shut

Denise Van Outen hit the shops in Chelmsford on Saturday – and just in time, too.

She was spotted out and about a mere hours before Boris Johnson announced that non-essential stores would be closing yet again on Sunday, set to remain shut in the lead-up to Christmas.

Denise, 46, cut a solo appearance as she crammed in some Christmas shopping, unaware that Essex would be upgraded to Tier 4 at midnight.

Keeping things stylish, Denise wore a army-print coat with a cream fur lining, keeping warm as she clutched a take-out coffee.

She wore this over a black sweater and a pair of animal print leggings.

She wore black boots and brandished an oversized Christian Dior bag, as well as other shopping bags.

Denise capped the look off with a black captain’s hat, wearing her blonde locks in loosely around her shoulders.
