Liv Phyland prides herself on having a healthy and positive body image and self-confidence.
The former Loop host, 28, claims she’s always rejected society’s unrealistic expectations to be ‘smaller, prettier and skinnier’.
Speaking to Who magazine on Thursday, Liv detailed her day on a plate and the go-to workout routine that keeps her grounded.

Liv is an active woman, often posting pictures in her gym gear or in her swimmers at the beach.
‘I’m most grateful for my relationship with body image and self-confidence… I’m really proud that from a young age I’ve been quite sure of who I am and really stuck by that to be the best version of myself,’ she said.
Liv joked of her relationship with food: ‘I eat more than any guy I’ve ever dated and I eat more than my dad – thank god for a good metabolism!’

Healthy habits: Liv loved eating vegetables for every meal, from a green smoothie at breakfast, a nourish bowl for lunch and a hearty shepherd’s pie or curry for dinner
However, while Liv jokes about her love of eating, she does so with a healthy and balanced diet in mind.
The TV presenter said she usually starts her day with a green smoothie packed with vegetables, fruits and protein powder.
For lunch and dinner, she favours a meal with plenty of vegetables, such as a nourish bowl, veggie curry or shepherd’s pie.
Liv also says she indulges in some form of dessert every night, and as a sweet tooth tries to opt for raw sugar options for her snacks throughout the day.

Liv is known for her love of the outdoors, and is a fan of surfing in particular.
‘I just love starting my days early. I’m someone that’s most productive, most creative and most energised in the first part of the day,’ she said of being active in the early hours of the morning.
If Liv isn’t surfing or swimming, she likes to attend a boxing, Pilates or group fitness/ bootcamp class.

On February 6, Channel 10 announced music show The Loop had been cancelled after eight years on the air.
Liv had joined the program as a co-host in 2015, replacing Ash London.
The final episode, hosted by Liv and Justin Hill, aired on Saturday, February 9.
