Revealing all: Holly Hagan has revealed she plans to show her future children episodes of Geordie Shore in a bid to teach them about slut-shaming, bullying and heartbreak

Holly appeared on the MTV show on and off between 2011-2019, before going on to star in spin-off show Geordie OGs in 2019.

And addressing a fan who asked if she was worried her future kids will see her on the show, Holly responded that she wasn’t, as they’ll get an insight into several important topics which she’s coped with herself.

She responded: ‘No and to be honest if they’re ever going through similar things to what I went through in there such as bullying, fat shaming, slut shaming, heartbreak I will show them the eps so they can know that they are not alone and I understand because I’ve been there.’

She continued: ‘As a child you genuinely believe your parents have no idea what it’s like to be young and that they couldn’t possibly understand. I can show them that I do.

‘That we can make mistakes and come back from them and it isn’t the end of the world. We must normalise making mistakes and growing from them and stop trying to raise these kids with unrealistic expectations that they’re never gunna do anything wrong’. [sic]

The TV star was also questioned on how many children she wants and if she has any names.

Holly, who became engaged to beau Jacob Blyth in June last year, replied: ‘We’re going to see if we like the first one then go from there.’

She went on to say that she’s ‘lucky’ that she doesn’t have the ‘stress’ of a 9-5 job before going on to praise her mother for working as a single parent.

But Holly joked that her mother didn’t approve of the name she had picked out for her future child and hoped it would ‘grow on her.’

Holly also reflected on her early days on Geordie Shore and admitted she wished she’d joined the show a year earlier as she would have looked different.

She penned: ‘I honestly wish I could have went in a year earlier because I actually look like a normal nice girl.

‘When I went in I was going through my gothic bad gyal leather glove big t**s and bad hair extensions stage which lead everyone to believe I was ugly because of my bad makeup but I was actually normal looking underneath.

‘I also chipped my tooth before I went in and didn’t have time to fix it so I looked like a hillbilly.’

She also opened up on finding it ‘hard’ to be branded a ‘s**g’ on the show, but added that she was ‘glad’ of those experiences as when she met Jacob, she knew that she was ready to ‘settle down.’

During the Q&A Holly also revealed why she would never do a fly-on-the-wall show of her own like pal Charlotte Crosby did and told how she refuses to do live TV as her anxiety ‘would be through the roof.’

In addition, the beauty also discussed her past fears of her TV work drying up, stating that she is ‘passionate’ about her health and fitness projects and would be an ‘avenue’ she’ll explore when she leaves TV.

Holly also candidly opened up about her finances following several questions from fans, where she shared how she earns money from her TV work and Instagram.

She told how for the first three seasons of Geordie Shore, she wasn’t paid at all and had to borrow money off her mum to survive.

She explained that she and her fellow cast mates were ‘struggling’ so much that they sought help from MTV who eventually offered them a ‘small wage’ to ‘help us get by’.

Holly’s honesty comes just days after she was announced as part of the line-up for next year’s Celebs On The Farm.

In a promotional image for the third series, the TV was covered in mud as she posed with her fellow contestants, including Kerry Katona and Montana Brown, in the Yorkshire Dales.

The programme, which will document the celebrities’ day-to-day lives on the farm, is scheduled to air in January on MTV after its first two seasons were broadcast on 5Star.
