EXC: Liam Payne PAID FOR Cheryl’s £3.7m mansion

Cheryl’s luxury £3.7m mansion was paid for by her ex-partner Liam Payne, according to the title deeds for the property.

The Fight For This Love singer, 37, moved to the property, which is situated in the pretty Buckinghamshire village of Chalfont St Peter, close to Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s home, in March 2019.

The title deeds for the house state that one of the two lenders was the One Direction member – listed as Liam James Payne – as well as the bank Accord Mortgages Ltd, a subsidiary of Yorkshire Building Building Society.

Elsewhere, Cheryl, who shares son Bear, three, with Liam, 27, is listed as the registered owner, under her full name Cheryl Ann Tweedy.

It is unclear whether the purchase was part of their split arrangement after she moved out of his home last year. The couple broke up in June 2018 after two years together and share parenting duties to Bear.

Cheryl and Bear continued to live at Liam’s £5.1m six-bedroom house in Woking, Surrey, for nine months after their split.

She then moved, alongside Bear and her mother, to the three-storey property, which boasts four bedrooms with en suites on the first floor and a three on the second floor, as well as a study, morning room, family room and gym.

It’s thought that Liam, who is now engaged to 20-year-old model Maya Henry, hasn’t lived in his own Surrey property since they went their separate ways last year and listed the property for rent last year for £8k a week.

The property has an outdoor pool, gym, tennis court, ‘hot yoga room’ and games room. According to the rental advert, Liam also had a £8k life-size Iron Man Mark 42 figure in the cinema and a giant portrait of U2’s Bono in his hallway.

Liam won planning approval to turn the garage into a ‘granny flat’ annexe, which was reportedly built for Cheryl’s mum Joan to live there and help care for Bear, but they split only months later.

Little is known about Cheryl’s home, although Chalfont St Peter is one of the most desirable areas in the Home Counties with an average house asking price of £728,440, according to Zoopla.

Last month, Liam revealed he and Cheryl agreed he should take some time ‘away’ from their son Bear during the first lockdown earlier this year.

The singer claimed it’s ‘not unusual’ for him to be ‘in and out’ of his son’s life as he discussed the extended break from Bear. During an interview with Tings magazine at the time, Liam said: ‘[Lockdown] it’s the longest I haven’t seen him [Bear] in his life.

‘But we discussed from the start and for different reasons, me and Cheryl decided I should be away for a little bit, it’s not unusual for me to be in and out of his life. He’s a quiet and chill child. He doesn’t worry about things too much.’

In March, Liam admitted that missing his son Bear’s third birthday was the ‘hardest thing’ for him during the UK COVID-19 lockdown. The singer made the ‘tough call’ as he worried that he had been ‘exposed’ to so many things by living in London.
