A woman in southern China has been caught on camera driving a toy car on a busy crossroad before being pulled over by police.
The ‘motorist’ was spotted riding the fake vehicle decorated with pink neon lights and even making a swift turn on the junction in the city of Quanzhou on Monday.
The resident, identified by the officers as an ‘auntie’, claimed she was trying to save time while transporting the replica to a local park for hire.

The Chinese auntie, Ms Li, worked at a toy store which rented its toy cars to children at a local park, said local media.
On Monday evening, the woman was ordered by her boss to take the pink replica to the park from the shop.
Instead of travelling on foot, she decided to drive to the destination with the toy car.
But her joyride was halted when Ms Li was spotted and pulled over by the traffic wardens working on the road.
In the CCTV footage released by local police, the toy car with glowing pink lights can be seen moving along the road with flowing traffic before making a smooth right turn on the junction.

While Ms Li used the toy car as a time-saver, this little Chinese boy appeared to have taken a little girl for a ride on his fake SUV at their playdate.
The pair can be seen in CCTV footage sitting in the toy car as they travelled on a busy road in Hubei Province, central China, in July.
Luckily, the children were unhurt after a female driver spotted the youngsters weaving through traffic in the opposite direction and stopped them.
