WAG Rebecca Judd farewells 3pm Pick-Up radio show with sweet tribute to colleagues… but fails to mention co-host Yumi Stynes

WAG Rebecca Judd co-hosted KIIS FM’s 3pm Pick-up radio show for the very last time on Tuesday.

And on Wednesday, she took another opportunity to reflect on the fun three years she spent broadcasting from the Melbourne studio.

‘Thanks for the laughs, tears, OMG moments and giggles. It’s been so fun,’ Bec wrote, but one detail appeared to be missing.

‘I’ll miss these two ladies soooooo much @montydimond @msmeldavies,’ the media personality captioned a photo with co-host Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond and producer Mel Davies.

However, Bec’s post seemingly neglected to mention her other co-host Yumi Stynes.

Rebecca, 37, had hosted the daily radio program alongside Monty for two days a week, while Yumi sat in her chair for the other three days in Bec’s absence.

It’s possible Bec only mentioned Monty and Mel as they are often in the Melbourne studio with her, while Yumi broadcasts interstate in Sydney.

The pair are both friends who follow each other on Instagram.

On Tuesday’s last episode, the AFL WAG also chose to address rumours she was fired from the radio show.

After confirming it was her final episode on radio, Rebecca’s co-host Monty explained: ‘Bec has decided to spend more time with her family next year and when you hear that you think “they totally got fired” but she definitely didn’t.’

Monty went on to say: ‘She is walking away to spend time with her family and other endeavours.’

‘That’s right, I fired you,’ Rebecca cheekily joked.

Rebecca announced she was quitting KIIS FM’s 3pm Pick-Up radio show after three years on the air in November.

She will be replaced in the afternoon time slot by comedian Kate Langbroek in 2021  the Australian Radio Network confirmed.

An ARN spokesperson said that Rebecca was leaving the show because she wanted to ‘take a break from media in the new year’.

Rebecca had joined KIIS FM’s 3pm Pick-Up in 2017 alongside Yumi, replacing Monty’s former co-host Meshel Laurie.
