Kristin Cavallari’s new boyfriend appears to shuts down speculation she is dating Austen Kroll

Kristin Cavallari’s new boyfriend Jeff Dye has seemingly set the rumor mill straight after his girlfriend sparked dating speculation with Southern Charm star Austen Kroll.

Kristin, 33, was spotted over the weekend on Instagram hanging out with Kroll and several pals in Nashville, leading some to wonder if they were more than just friends, according to Page Six.

But Jeff stepped in on Twitter, where he appeared to shut down the speculation with a hilarious comeback.

‘He wishes,’ Jeff tweeted, along with a winking emoji.

Kristin herself hit back at the speculation on her Instagram account.

‘I didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to have FRIENDS that are guys,’ Kristin wrote on her Instagram stories, which showed her with her eyes rolled.

Kristin and Jeff confirmed their romance earlier this month during a PDA-packed getaway to Cabo San Lucas.

The couple had already been at the center of romance rumors for some time, after they were first spotted sharing a kiss in Chicago back in October. 

In October, a source told Us Weekly Kristin wasn’t ‘thinking long-term’ right now, but was definitely enjoying Jeff’s company.

‘Kristin and Jeff are totally a thing,’ an insider told the site. ‘She loves to laugh and Jeff is obviously so funny and playful.

‘He is making her life lighter through this transition and deterring her away from feeling upset. Jeff has helped put her in a good headspace and he is stoked on her and thinks she’s so beautiful and sexy.’

‘Kristin is not thinking long-term right now and isn’t trying to get serious right away. She has three children and knows it will have to be a slow process,’ the source added.

The new romance comes just a few months after Kristin announced her separation from husband Jay Cutler.

The couple married in 2013 and had sons Camden, eight, Jaxon, six, and daughter Saylor, five, together before filing for divorce in 2020.
