Just months later, Chloe, 38, has unfollowed Pete, 32, on Instagram and is said to be heartbroken after he rebuffed her hopes of a relationship when she told him she was in love with him.

A source told New Magazine: ‘Pete backed off, insisting that as much as he does love her, he just doesn’t want to be her boyfriend.
‘Chloe was really hurt and this was her breaking point. She decided she can’t keep him in her life and so she cut him out.
‘She’s devastated because she put her cards on the table and allowed herself to be vulnerable, only to be rejected by him again. It hurts but she knows she can’t spend another Christmas feeling lonely and pining for him.’

The insider added their relationship is ‘over for good’ because Chloe wants to settle down, while Pete is happy single.

Their pair’s fractured friendship comes just weeks after Chloe wished Pete a happy 32nd birthday in a sweet Instagram post.
Alongside a snap of the pair hugging, the media personality called her co-star her ‘happy place’ and insisted she ‘can’t let the day go without celebrating you’.
The television personality was met with comments from fans pleading for the former couple to reunite just weeks after they revealed their secret two-year sexual relationship.
