Footy WAG Rebecca Judd reveals her secret health battle which has left her children baffled

Rebecca Judd has revealed she suffers from bloating after almost every meal.

The footy WAG, 37, revealed on her last ever episode of KIIS FM’s 3pm Pick-Up on Tuesday that her son Darcy is obsessed with her tummy when it bloats.

‘So, you know when you eat, you get a big tummy [and] when you wake up in the morning, your tummy is flatter?’ she began.

‘After every meal I balloon out. I could have a Weet-Bix and it pops out. So Darcy is obsessed with grabbing my tummy,’ she added.

Rebecca went on to compare Darcy’s interest in her belly to that of an obstetrician, noting that her son is already interested in ‘where the food goes’ during digestion.

‘He grabs it like an obstetrician grabs your tummy. You know when your ob touches it? And they know exactly where to grab to feel the head or the bottom,’ she said.

‘He grabs it like he is trying to feel the food.’

Rebecca said she’d explained the process of digestion to Darcy, telling him it’s normal for a person’s belly to go down after they go to the bathroom.

Bloating often occurs due to excess gas production or disturbances in the movement of the muscles of the digestive system.

This is Rebecca’s last week on the 3pm Pick-Up, as she is leaving the show to spend more time with her family.

She is being replaced by Kate Langbroek, who is returning to the radio industry after spending two years living in Italy.

‘It wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one I have sat on for months it’s a family decision,’ the JAGGAD co-founder previously said.

‘My husband has also walked away from his radio gig for next year and it’s purely a result of us re-evaluating our lives and what’s important to us as a family next year.’

Rebecca and her husband, retired AFL star Chris Judd, share four children, son Oscar, nine, daughter Billie, six, and four-year-old twins Tom and Darcy.

ARN’s chief content officer Duncan Campbell said of Rebecca’s decision to quit the show: ‘Bec Judd has been a fantastic contributor to 3pm Pick-Up.

‘The engaging conversation, real-life anecdotes and fun that she brought to the show will be missed, but we wish her well on her next endeavours.’
