Pregnant Bindi Irwin ‘can’t wait for her baby girl to arrive next year’ so they can go adventuring

She announced her pregnancy in August and is expecting a little girl with her husband Chandler Powell. 

And on Wednesday, pregnant Bindi Irwin said just how much she’s looking forward to welcoming her tiny tot early next year.

The 22-year-old Wildlife Warrior shared a sweet picture of herself with her mother Terri, brother Robert and her husband while on a hike, saying she can’t wait until she can bring her daughter along with them.  

‘Can’t wait for beautiful baby girl to arrive next year,’ Bindi captioned the post, which she shared on her social media pages. 

Bindi, who is around 24 weeks pregnant, added: ‘She’s going to love all of our wild and wonderful adventures together.’

In the image, Bindi smiles as she poses alongside her family, hiding her baby bump in a baggy black T-shirt. 

Bindi announced her pregnancy in August, sharing an image of herself and Chandler holding up a tiny khaki Australia Zoo uniform. 

‘Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021. Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting,’ she wrote in part of her post. 

Just last month, Bindi thrilled fans when she shared ultrasound footage of her growing baby. 

‘Our beautiful daughter is the light of our lives. Beyond thankful that she chose us to be her parents. I can’t wait for her to be here next year,’ Bindi wrote on Instagram.

‘This is so exciting. Look at our daughter, she’s so beautiful,’ she said in a video. 

Chandler, 24, can then be heard saying: ‘Wow, you can see her heartbeat there. Oh my goodness, she is beautiful and very active.’

On November 11, Bindi said that she was 20 weeks pregnant and ‘halfway there.’ 

Bindi and Chandler were married on March 25, in a makeshift ceremony at Australia Zoo just before the country went into COVID-19 lockdown.
