Delta Goodrem brought joy to Australians on Saturday night with her TV Christmas special on Channel Nine.
And on Monday, Kylie Minogue thanked the former Voice judge for inviting her to perform on the nationally-broadcast holiday show.
‘LOVED singing with @deltagoodrem for her Australian Christmas Special!’ Kylie, 52, told her fans.

While the singers harmonised effortlessly and appeared to feed off each other’s energy, they were never in the same room.
Kylie, who resides in London, revealed the clever trick used to be part of the special evening, despite distance and time zones separating them.
‘Here’s a couple of pics from the filming in London!’ the Spinning Around hit-maker said, as she stood in her sparkly gown on a green screen set.

Interestingly, Delta once played Olivia in a TV biopic about the singer and actress’ life – Hopelessly Devoted to You in 2018.

Delta’s Christmas special on Nine cemented her status with network and appeared to quash rumours she would move to rival network Seven.
Despite Seven snapping up the rights to competitive singing show The Voice, it appears Delta will no longer appear as a judge on the program.
Promoting her Christmas with Delta special on A Current Affair last week, she told host Leila McKinnon: ‘I am really hoping to bring a lot of love through this music and this Christmas special.’
The Born to Try songstress revealed it was ‘so special’ to be back on a stage following months of their ‘bunker-down sessions’.
‘I saw the set [of the Christmas special] and I really feel like it is a dream come true to get to do this, I am very grateful,’ she said.
