Kris Smith’s new fiancée Sarah Boulazeris has hit back at critics, after the pair announced their engagement on Saturday.
Sarah, 29, posted a series of images on her Instagram story, saying that she had no idea that Kris, 41, was going to propose at their daughter Frankie’s first birthday party.
She then defiantly signed off her posts saying ‘love soon to be Mrs Smith.’

‘Just want to clear up a few things for the keyboard trolls of the world,’ Sarah said, while showing off her new diamond ring.
‘Firstly, happy Monday. Our engagement was not staged and caught me completely by surprise.’

She went on to say how their close friends didn’t even know the proposal was going to take place and that their daughter Frankie still had ‘the best day ever.’
She hinted that Kris’ older son Ethan, from his relationship with ex Dannii Minogue was at the party, saying: ‘All three of our beautiful children we share together were here to share our beautiful moment.’

In an Instagram post made on on Saturday, Kris shared two photos of the moment he got down on one knee and proposed to personal trailer Sarah.
The pair were celebrating their daughter Frankie’s first birthday with a party in their backyard, when Kris asked for Sarah’s hand in marriage.
He captioned the set of charming photos, which show a truly stunned Sarah in tears: ‘2020 wasn’t all bad… she said yes’.
The couple had been celebrating Frankie’s birthday with a white-themed party at home.

The couple have two children – little Frankie, one, and another daughter, Mila Elle, who turned two earlier this month.
Earlier this year, Kris, who has been in a relationship with Sarah for three years, insisted he would not marry her unless she proposed to him.
He told fans during an Instagram Q+A session: ‘I get asked this a lot… When will I marry Sarah? When she gets off her ass and proposes! It’s 2020 now, she needs to propose, put a ring on it’.
