Dancing on Ice star Vanessa Bauer’s ex-boyfriend Louis Nathaniel has claimed that they ended their two-year romance because he ‘couldn’t trust her’.
The cruise ship dancer, 29, revealed that they ‘didn’t want to end up cheating on each other’ so decided to ‘end things’ when he moved to Miami in January 2019.
Louis admitted he knew there was ‘no chance’ that Vanessa, 24, would move abroad with him due to her love for Dancing On Ice, and said he ‘didn’t expect her to’.

Speaking about the split, he told The Sun On Sunday: ‘When I’m in the same country I trust her, but being in a different country I wasn’t sure how it was going to pan out.
‘We didn’t ever want to end up cheating on each other so we thought it was better to end it.’
Their break-up came amid rumours she was growing ‘close’ to Love Island’s Wes Nelson, who was her Dancing On Ice celebrity partner at the time.
Speaking about Vanessa being linked to Wes, 22, within days of them announcing their break-up, Louis revealed it was very ‘hard’ to read about.

When asked if Wes was an issue for the couple, he revealed: ‘Not at the time but I did hear things after we broke up and that was difficult, I was heartbroken.’
MailOnline has contacted Vanessa’s representatives for comment.
Their shock split made headlines at the time as Wes’s then-girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson, accused Vanessa of what she described as a ‘tactical break-up’.
Lashing out on Instagram, she wrote: ‘Love that you decide to announce your break-up with your boyfriend on the night of your first performance with my boyfriend.’
Vanessa is currently training for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice with Joe-Warren Plant, who has recently split from his girlfriend Nicole Hadlow.

The Emmerdale actor, 18, has parted ways with Nicole, 24, amid claims she was growing concerned he was more committed to the show than to her.
But Vanessa, who was linked to Wes’ break-up last year, is apparently furious that she is being blamed again.
A source said: ‘Vanessa is hugely embarrassed by this. She’s insisted she has nothing to do with Joe and Nicole breaking up.
‘Vanessa has been accused of being at the centre of other partners’ splits but she says it is purely coincidence.
‘She doesn’t want to be seen as a man-eater. She gets on well with Joe.

‘She’s been putting in long hours training and they’ve been spending a lot of time together but it’s nothing more than work, as far as she’s concerned.’
According to The Sun, Joe’s now ex-girlfriend, model Nicole, has told friends she felt he wanted the show more than her.
The actor had been dating Nicole for the last three years but was recently reported to have moved back to his mother’s home in Blackpool.
An insider said: ‘Nicole felt sidelined and he’s done little to put her mind at ease.’
It comes after insiders alleged that lash technician Nicole was not impressed with the time Joe was spending training and deleted snaps of the pair from Instagram.

The actor, who is best known for his role as Jacob Gallagher in the ITV soap, and Vanessa have been sharing regular updates from their time on the rink.
Sharing an array of videos and snaps from their fun-filled rehearsals recently, Joe revealed they had been given their first routine, which was possibly to the tune of Justin Bieber’s Yummy.
The hint came from a slew of the videos shared by both of the dancing duo, with the hit track playing in the back while they zipped around.
