The Today show’s Karl Stefanovic kicks off his holiday in Queensland with a surf lesson in Noosa
He’s taken some time out of his busy schedule to holiday in Queensland with wife Jasmine Yarbrough and seven-month-old daughter, Harper May.
And it appears Karl Stefanovic, 46, is enjoying his time off from the Today show in the Sunshine State, after being spotted learning how to surf.
The television host was seen preparing to ride a few waves at Noosa on Saturday, with the help of an instructor.

Dressed in a red rashie and sunflower print board shorts, Karl looked cool as he prepared to go into the water.
He practiced his surfing moves on the sand – pretending to kick and correctly position himself on the surfboard – before heading out for a few waves.
Karl was then seen deep in conversation with the instructor, who also taught him how to tie the surfboard leash onto his ankle.

The father-of-four gave it his all in the water as he rode multiple waves while laying down, standing up and even kneeling.
He appeared fairly steady on his feet – only falling off the board a couple of times.

He never usually lets his facial hair grow out – but appears to be comfortable with his natural look while on his holiday.

Karl has only spoken briefly to the media about this tattoo, telling the Herald Sun in 2014 that he has has no idea what the Japanese writing on his arm means, admitting: ‘I don’t know what it means as I was stoned at uni when I got it done.’
On his other shoulder, the Nine presenter revealed what appeared to be a series of runes, which he previously confirmed are ‘good luck symbols for the kids’.
The breakfast TV star got an infinity symbol on his wrist for charity back in 2014.
