Jimmy Bartel soaks up the sun as he spends time with his boys Henley, two, and Aston, five,

He’s a proud father of two adorable young boys.

And on Sunday, former AFL star Jimmy Bartel shared a string of sweet photos of his sons Henley, two, and Aston, five, as they spent quality time together.

The 36-year-old proved to be every inch the doting father supervising his boys as they enjoyed some time in their backyard pool. 

‘Summer Sundays,’ Jimmy captioned the post alongside a swimming and sun emoji.

Showing off his fit bod, Jimmy opted to go shirtless for the occasion. 

A second photo shows little Henley smiling, all excited while wearing a floatie having just went for a swim. 

Jimmy shares his two gorgeous children with former WAG Nadia Bartel. The pair announced their split last year, and Jimmy is now dating Lauren Mand.

Nadia – who is believed to have found love with personal trainer Nathan Brodie – recently celebrated Aston’s fifth birthday with Iron Man cake.

Both Jimmy and his ex-wife Nadia shared separate tributes to their son.

Jimmy couldn’t contain his pride as he shared several photos to Instagram of the youngster blowing out the candles on his birthday cake.

Meanwhile, fashion designer Nadia gushed that her little boy had ‘taught her so much’ over the last few years and was pleased that he was ‘always by her side’.   

Jimmy wrote: ‘Happppppppy Birthday. My Big Boy Aston. 5 Today!! (Please stop). 

‘You’re the most caring, sensitive, imaginative little man. You are an incredible big brother to Henley, and I’m so proud to be your Dad. Love you, Aston.’
