Roxy Jacenko breaks her silence on ‘feud’ with Francesca Packer

EXCLUSIVE: Roxy Jacenko breaks her silence on ‘feud’ with Francesca Packer – amid rumours the billionaire heiress ‘abruptly’ ended their friendship

Sydney publicity queen Roxy Jacenko has finally addressed her rumoured feud with billionaire heiress Francesca Packer.

The Sun-Herald reported last week the pair had ‘abruptly parted company, both professionally and personally’ – hence why Roxy hadn’t attended Francesca’s star-studded 26th birthday party on Sydney Harbour on November 29.

But on Friday, the Sweaty Betty PR found, 40, denied there was any bad blood between the two women, telling Daily Mail Australia: ‘There is no feud. She’s a lovely girl, and I’ve been around her since she was 20 years of age.’

‘At the same time, I’ve got a family, I’ve got children and I’m running seven business. So no, I’m not out at every possible shindig there is,’ she added, explaining why she hadn’t been at Francesca’s party.

‘I am a 40 year old woman with two children. I don’t have the luxury of being at everything. ‘

Roxy, who spoke to Daily Mail Australia at the world premiere of Stan Original movie A Sunburnt Christmas, went on to say that Francesca was a ‘gorgeous girl’.

As for rumours of a rift, she said: ‘I can’t actually even give this air! There must not be much to write about when Covid-19 is on.’

Francesca, who is the granddaughter of late media mogul Kerry Packer, hired Roxy to handle her growing media profile in 2014.

The pair, who share a mutual love for designer handbags and expensive cars, soon became inseparable – so it was surprising when their alleged ‘feud’ made headlines last week.

In 2015, the glamorous pals famously made a splash at Paris Fashion Week as they attended the Louis Vuitton runway show together.

Roxy even said that she wanted Francesca to be her bridesmaid, after her husband, former investment banker Oliver Curtis, proposed for a second time in 2017.

‘If there’s a second wedding, Francesca will definitely be [a bridesmaid],’ Roxy told Yahoo Lifestyle at the 2017 Derby Day in Melbourne.

‘It’s funny, she started as a client and she’s become an amazing friend,’ she added.

Just last year, Roxy and Oliver were front and centre at Francesca’s 25th birthday dinner party in Sydney.

The rift rumour emerged as Roxy was recovering from her recent falling out with her former friend and client Candice Warner.

Roxy ended their friendship acrimoniously after Candice punched her as part of a challenge while filming SAS Australia in July.
