David Beckham ventures out for some Christmas shopping at luxury luggage store

Spend it like Beckham! David looks relaxed in a white T-shirt and jeans as he ventures out for some Christmas shopping at luxury luggage store

David Beckham appeared to dig deep on Thursday afternoon while picking up some Christmas shopping at a luxury luggage store.

With December 25th less than a fortnight away the former Manchester United and England footballer paid a visit to the exclusive Belgravia address occupied by high-end brand Tanner Krolle.

Beckham, 45, appeared to dismiss London’s plunging winter temperatures by appearing outside the store in a simple white T-shirt that fully exposed his distinctive sleeve tattoos.

While the coat appeared to be missing, so too did the all important face covering – a mandatory requirement in all retail outlets – as he made his way inside.

Visible through a street facing window, the retired footballer was mask free as he chatted to staff members during his appearance at the by appointment only store.

Beckham completed his look with a pair of worn-looking jeans, while tan suede Chelsea boots rounded things off.

It’s likely that millionaire Beckham was picking up some thoughtful Christmas gifts for loved ones at the store, where luxury leather bags can sell for as much as £2,000.

The appearance comes amid claims that the former footballer and fashion designer wife Victoria have made a request to West Oxfordshire District Council to build a wine cellar underneath the garage of their £6million Cotswolds bolthole.

The initial plan was for the cellar to be connected for the main house by an underground walkway, but the couple now hope to make the basement space bigger instead, The Sun reports.

It’s understood that they hope to extend the space from the originally proposed 81 sq metres to 117.5 sq metres, and at 36 x 36 ft, there’ll be enough room to house thousands of bottles of wine.

The cellar plans are just some of the changes the Beckham clan have planned for their Grade II listed pad, of which they’ve spend a majority of lockdown in.

Plans to build a huge lake at their Cotswolds home has recently started – despite backlash from neighbours.
