Rihanna rocked a colorful throwback look when she accepted the award for Collaborator of the Year on Tuesday for the virtual edition of the 2020 Footwear News Achievement Awards.

The 32-year-old pop superstar–turned–makeup and clothing magnate was honored alongside her collaborators Amina Muaddi and Jahleel Weaver.

The Work singer looked as if she was ready to relax in comfort with her fuzzy green bucket hat and a matching pale green zip-up hoodie.

Rihanna also represented her Fenty brand with a set of its $330 Off Record Sunglasses.

She added some extra glamour to the look with a conservative pair of earrings and multiple gold chains and necklaces draped around her throat.

Rihanna and her collaborators were being honored for their Fenty by Amina, which she often showcases on her Instagram.

Weaver described an ideal collaboration, saying, ‘It has to come with this respect and trust of allowing someone to take you to place you might not have necessarily thought of going before.’

Rihanna’s remarks were perfunctory and mostly involved introducing her collaborators, though at the end she added, ‘I can’t wait to give you more.’

Joining Rihanna in designing the new Fenty footwear was Muaddi, an Italian-raised footwear designer now based in Paris.

Most of the heels she designs feature an instantly recognizable flared base that adds to their comfort.

‘I think it’s important to collaborate when you truly believe in someone else’s brand or point of view,’ Muaddi said in an interview with FN. ‘For me it was very important to take the elements that characterized Fenty and Rihanna’s personality and style and filter my own feminine aesthetic through it.’
