Martha Stewart has been helping holiday revelers deck the halls for decades, and in 2020 the bon vivant is celebrating an unbelievable 30 years of her iconic Martha Stewart Living Magazine.

The holiday season is truly Stewart’s time to shine as thousands of people turn to her every year for recipes, decor inspiration, tablescapes, tips, tricks and crafts that encapsulate her legendary brand.

This year, however, the lifestyle mogul has had to adapt both her business model and her iconic holiday parties due to the pandemic.

‘Well, sadly, there won’t be a Christmas party,’ she revealed. ‘But in a way, the whole party is in our 30th anniversary issue of Martha Stewart Living Magazine. 30 years! Can you imagine?’

Over the last three decades of Martha Stewart Living Magazine the domestic goddess has cemented herself as America’s teacher by providing an endless supply of lifestyle lessons.

‘We have taught a huge audience how to live better,’ she said looking back. ‘I think that’s our greatest accomplishment with the magazine.’

The whole ethos of Martha Stewart Living seems more poignant than ever after months of pandemic solitude and Martha says she’s ‘very proud’ of what the magazine has accomplished.

‘We have encouraged people to make their homes more beautiful. We have taught them how to cook better,’ Martha explained. ‘So that’s really, I think, one of my best legacies is all that teaching that we’ve done. I call it teaching and inspiration and information.’

Martha has made crafting cozy homes, memorable holidays and bespoke get-togethers into an art form, and no one could have predicted that those things would be exactly what the world would desperately need by the end of 2020.

With the stress of this year in mind, the entrepreneur is turning her focus to helping people take a breather with her own line of Martha Stewart CBD Wellness Gummies.

‘This is my big Christmas present for everyone this year,’ she said of the calming treats.

As one who always puts her personal stamp of approval on anything with her name on it, Martha is a big fan of using CBD.

‘Well, I’m not I’m not a doctor and I’m not prescribing CBD to anyone,’ she explained. ‘But what we have found is that CBD does have some very nice qualities for relieving stress, for relaxing or helping with sleep.’

‘I know your good friend, Snoop Dogg got you, kind of, introduced into the CBD cannabis industry,’ Alicia Quarles said during their interview. ‘What are you getting him for Christmas is what I want to know!’

‘I can’t tell it out loud! It has to be a surprise for Snoop,’ Martha coyly responded. ‘We’re not talking about that.’

The rapper, who serves as Martha’s co-host on Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party and Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Party Challenge, will no doubt be getting a box of her CBD gummies in addition to whatever else the lifestyle maven has in store.

In general, this season will be more tame than usual for Martha who typically has a packed schedule of parties and appearances to get through in December. This year she will keep it low key at her picturesque Bedford, NY farm.

Hunkering down hasn’t been bad for Martha, however, because while most people have packed on a few pounds during the pandemic, she has managed to have a quarantine glow-up.

‘I don’t go out to dinner at night,’ Martha explained. ‘I think I’ve lost weight because I haven’t been eating as much as I ate during…before…you know, B.C., we call it B.C.’ (Before COVID.)

‘It’s kind of fun. I mean, all my clothes are fitting better or they’re too big,’ she continued. ‘We’ve been working really hard and keeping very, very busy during this time. And we’re lucky! We live on a farm, spend a lot of time outdoors.’
