Jamie Foxx decks out his $10.5 million, 40-acre estate with Christmas lights

He purchased the 17,000 square foot home- which sits on 40 private acres – in 2007 for $10.5 million.

And 13 years after getting the keys to the mega mansion, Jamie Foxx pulled all the stops to make sure his home reflected his holiday spirit.

The Oscar winner, 52, decked out his estate with an array of colorful lights, with even the front gate featuring an intricate Christmas design – as well as the word JOY sitting tall next to it.

The Ray actor had yellow lights along the roof of his massive estate, with the tall trees next to the property draped in purple, rainbow or white lights.

The columns in the front were covered in lights as well as snowflake details above them, matching the ones near the center piece fountain in the rounded driveway.

The backyard had lights all along the pool with even more around his two free-standing guest homes; his tennis courts also had lights along the edge.

The long driveway had yellow lights with trees covered in a variety of rainbow hues – including a green tree, blue tree, pink, red orange and green tree.

The edge of the 40 acre property had white lights on the base of trees lining fence, with green and red nearby.

The wow factor really came from the front gate, which featured green and yellow tones, as well red and white ones all over.

Next to it was a JOY sign in the front, which featured yellow lights and had white lit trees behind it as well. 

Jamie purchased the property, which is located in the Hidden Valley area of the Thousand Oaks neighborhood in Los Angeles, in 2007, according to Variety.

The area is known for massive acreage per home and for a more privacy.

His estate has 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms across 17,000 square feet; the Mediterranean style home has a library, formal living and dining room, full gym, gourmet kitchen, a breakfast room, game rooms and family rooms, according to the outlet. 

The master bedroom has two fireplaces, an atrium, dual private baths, a sitting room, sauna and a balcony.

There is also two large guest houses, playing fields, north/south tennis courts, a cabana studio and an Olympic sized pool.
