‘Just missing my Santa hat,’ Gadot joked, adding, ‘#WW84 out in CinemaSafe theaters and on @hbomax on Christmas Day!’

The poster image showed the leggy actress covered neck to toe in shiny steel armor, which she’ll certainly need to defeat new villains in this sequel.

She added it was ‘mindblowing’ to get the opportunity to film the sequel on IMAX, while IMAX tech Scott Smith proclaims you will ‘never forget’ the sequel if you get the chance to see it in IMAX.

Of course, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s unclear quite yet how many IMAX theaters will be open by the time the superhero sequel hits theaters on Christmas Day.

Still, the featurette makes a strong case of why you should see the sequel in this format, with producer Charles Roven stating they wanted the film to have a ‘sense of spectacle,’ adding IMAX is one of the ‘most incredibly immersive mediums in the film arena.’
