Tyler Cameron flashes his abs as it’s revealed he uses Instagram to ‘shoot [his] shot’ amid COVID-19

Tyler Cameron recently revealed that, instead of using dating apps, he relies on Instagram DMs to safely ‘shoot [his] shot’ with the ladies amid COVID-19.

And the reality star, 27, looked every bit the eligible bachelor on Tuesday afternoon as he enjoyed a solo stroll around his Jupiter, Florida neighborhood.

Despite the chilly temperatures, Cameron ditched his plain white tee and let his impressively chiseled physique shine.

By the looks of his washboard abs and bulging biceps, it’s clear that Tyler has been working out regularly, while quarantining at his home.

Although the Bachelorette alum was not in the mood for a shirt, he did keep his lower half covered with a pair of cozy black sweatpants.

To complete his casual ensemble, Cameron threw on some white socks and slipped his feet into a pair of black Vans sneakers.

During one swoon-worthy moment of his stroll, Tyler took one of his muscular arms and swept his brunette hair off his forehead.

The reality TV contestant-turned-model’s impromptu outing on Tuesday comes shortly after his remote appearance on Dear Media podcast With Whit, which is hosted by the Hills alum Whitney Port and her husband Tim Rosenman.

During the candid episode, Whitney and her man asked Cameron to share whether or not he has been relying on dating apps, like Tinder and Bumble, to date in quarantine.

‘I am not on the apps, but I’ll send some DMs,’ he admitted. ‘I shoot my shot — a lot of shots don’t get made.’

Recalling some sound advice he received from his father Jeff ‘always’ told him, Tyler confidently stated: ‘You miss a hundred percent of the shots you don’t take.’

‘So I’m going to shoot and some don’t hit, some do, and it is what it is.’

With bars, restaurants and clubs out of the picture due to COVID-19 safety protocols, online dating is the only available route for Cameron.

‘That’s how you can date right now. You can’t go out and meet nobody, you know? So it’s just kind of like, it’s Wednesday at 6 p.m. and I see someone like, “Oh she’s pretty, I’ll send her a message,”‘ explained the hunk.

Although he has indulged in his fair share of Instagram DMing over the past eight-months, Tyler said that he prefers the romance and excitement that comes with in-person dating.

‘I enjoyed that so much more than trying to just message someone — I never was into the apps.

‘I was like, “I’m going to go to the bar and I’m going to try and go shoot, I’ll talk to everybody and anybody I can,”‘ he recalled.

Shockingly, Tyler told hosts Whitney and Tim that, besides potentially meeting a match, getting ‘turned down’ at a bar or nightclub is ‘part of the fun of going out.’

‘I tell you, I get turned down all the time, but that’s the fun part of going out. That’s what I loved about going to the bar. We were going out to meet people and have fun and who knew where the night [would go].’

But, most famously, Tyler enjoyed a whirlwind romance with Hannah Brown on season fifteen of The Bachelorette, which premiered in May of last year.

Unfortunately, the heartthrob came in second to contestant Jed Wyatt, who became engaged to Brown on the season finale of the hit ABC reality competition series.

And during his appearance on With Whit, the hosts asked Tyler if he would consider becoming The Bachelor.

‘We’ve talked about it,’ he said, referencing to series’ producers. ‘And there was a time I was really close to saying yes. My dad was in the hospital again and I was like, “Screw it. I’m going to do it.”‘

He admitted that he was so eager to take the job at the time ‘for the money,’ so that he could comfortably care for his ailing father and his brothers.

‘But then I sat on it and I talked to some of my friends about it and they were like, “Don’t do that — don’t do it for the money,” So I went against it.’

‘Down the road, who knows — I never say no to anything. It’s all about timing and when things are right,’ concluded Tyler.
