Tayshia Adams opens up about telling one of her suitors on The Bachelorette, Zac Clark, that she loves him on Wednesday’s episode of Ellen.

The 30-year-old Adams recently told Zac Clark that she loves him on the hit ABC reality series, as she opened up about that decision.

She also talked about the surprising return of Bennett Jordan, while Ellen also welcomed Leslie Odom Jr., who sang Last Christmas and spoke about his new child.

Adams committed quite the Bachelor Nation faux pas on Tuesday night’s episode when she told Clark that she’s falling for him.

Ellen added that was ‘pretty early to do,’ and asked if she’s ‘giving something away,’ though Adams responded quite diplomatically.

‘You know, I did do something that you’re not supposed to do, because you’re not supposed to say it to too many people, but at the same time, I’m there to find my person, so I felt that if it’s what I’m feeling, why not say it?’

She added that after she told Zac that she was falling for him, she told her producer, ‘Whoops, maybe I shouldn’t have done that,’ though it ‘felt right.

Ellen pointed out the logic in why she shouldn’t have said it, since if she ends up with someone else, they’ll see she said it to Zac first.

They also talked about the return of Bennett, who returned after being eliminated in Week 8 of the season, with Adams admitting it ‘absolutely’ was a surprise.

‘I had just gotten off of a date and I had just wanted to go home and kick off my heels, pour a glass of wine, but Bennett was standing in my door and that was the last person I was expecting,’ Adams said.

She also opened up about the whole season being set at a resort in Palm Springs, instead of being able to travel the world like on typical seasons.

‘At first, I was a little sad about it, but, to be honest with you, I thrive in the heat and Palm Springs is one of my most favorite places,’ Adams said.

She also made a good point that it was easier to find a ‘natural connection’ since it can be easier to fall in love when you’re traveling to luxurious locales, adding, ‘But this time, it was just us, and that’s great.’

Next week is the start of the ‘hometown’ dates, but since they can’t travel due to COVID, the contestants families will be travelling to her.

She also addressed recent photos that appeared to show her wearing an engagement ring, though she wouldn’t confirm and Ellen said that was a ‘terrible answer.’

While she wouldn’t divulge any spoilers, when asked if she was happy with how it ended, Adams said, ‘Yeah, I’m really happy. I’m a happy girl and I’m really blessed.’

Ellen also welcomed Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr., who spoke about expecting his second child, a son with wife Nicolette Robinson, who share three-year-old daughter Lucille.

When Ellen asked if she knows she’s going to be a big sister, Odom Jr.  said him and his wife use it as a ‘tool’ to do thing they want her to do.

‘You’re gonna be a big sister, you’re gonna have to be mature, you’re gonna have to teach your little brother how to do things,’ he said.

Odom Jr. added that she’s ‘very excited about it,’ as are her ‘invisible friends,’ such as two trolls, who he joked ‘always agree with her.’

‘She’s a little worried that her brother might disrupt the voting block she has going, but she’s excited,’ Odom added.
