Steve Price appears alongside his VERY youthful mother Margo on The Project

Steve Price’s mum Margo left fans shocked by her youthful appearance when she appeared on The Project alongside her son on Wednesday.

Although she wouldn’t divulge her age, the 65-year-old radio broadcaster revealed she’s over 85.

‘I can’t say how old mum is, but she is north of 85,’ he revealed, leaving Margo visibly unimpressed by his candid confession. 

Viewers were stunned to discover Margo was over the age of 85, and commented on her youthful good looks on Twitter. 

‘How is that young lady Steve Price’s mum? She looks amazing,’ tweeted one viewer, while another simply wrote, ‘Steve Price’s mum looks amazing.’ 

Others thought Margo looked even younger than her son. 

‘Steve Price’s mum looks younger than HIM!!!’ wrote one person, while another commented, ‘Does anyone else think that Steve Price’s mum looks younger than him?’

A chuffed Steve revealed he was recently reunited with his beloved mother after lockdown kept them apart for 289 days.

He confessed it had been a ‘very emotional’ reunion, and said he thought he might never see her again.  

‘It got to the point during this, where like a lot of Australians, you sat there and thought, “Well, I can’t go across the border. I can’t go and see my own mother and I might not see her again,”‘ he admitted. 

Steve has previously spoken about his mother on The Project, and revealed she lives in South Australia while he’s based in Victoria.

He confessed he was ‘gutted’ at the thought that he might never get to see her again amid enforced coronavirus lockdowns.
