Sebastian Stan shares incredibly relatable video that sums up the year 2020 so perfectly

Sebastian Stan may be an Avenger on the big screen, but like everyone else he was forced to quarantine amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 38-year-old actor shared a new video on Monday, which perfectly encapsulates the bizarre year that was 2020 for all of us, famous and non-famous alike.

The 83-second video was seemingly made quite some time ago, with Jessica Chastain commenting, ‘You finally posted it!’

The video shows Stan, clad in a grey sweater and black jeans, standing by himself, aimlessly making popping sounds with his mouth.

He’s next seen washing his hands in the kitchen sink, with black and white photos of Jack Nicholson’s Joker from the 1989 film Batman seen in the background, along with several bottles of alcohol, including Campari, and cleaning products.

He’s next seen just standing by himself, putting his hands in his pockets before he starts cleaning his countertops with purple plastic gloves.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier star is also seen taking a mop to his hardwood floors, before he starts washing his hands with the gloves still on.

He then puts on a white face mask to go outside his apartment, where he proceeded to clean off the door, before dropping the gloves and rags into a bag, tying it off, and kicking it down the hallway.

His task complete, Stan goes to wash up yet again before sitting down and trying to throw raspberries into his mouth… unsuccessfully.

He then starts cycling through a number of activities, including doing pushups on the ground, making more noises with his mouth and reading the rather fitting 2017 book The Lonely City: Adventures in the Art of Being Alone by Olivia Laing.

Stan then starts breaking into the wine, which then, naturally, leads to him showing off his singing skills.

Soon the sunglasses are on and he’s singing to Eric Carmen’s Hungry Eyes while rocking some shades and showing off his Hugo Boss boxers.

He then breaks into Maxine Nightingale’s Right Back Where We Started From, Usher and Lil’ Jon’s Yeah and Foreigner’s I Want to Know What Love Is.

Stan ultimately ends up lying on the floor, sadly singing Lionel Richie’s Hello while looking aimlessly into the camera.

The video ends with a dazed Stan sitting on the floor, randomly turning his lights off and on.

The video got a number of comments from Stan’s celebrity friends including Jessica Chastain, Jessica Szhor, director Drake Doremus, Chace Crawford and more.
