Baby’s first Vegemite! Peter Stefanovic shares his 10-month-old son Oscar’s hilarious reaction to tasting the famous Aussie spread for the first time
Peter Stefanovic may be a huge fan of Vegemite, but it appears his son Oscar, 10 months, is less impressed with the popular spread.
On Wednesday, the Sky News journalist shared a video of the youngster having his first taste of the spread as wife Sylvia watched on.
‘It’s time to give the young padawan his first try of Vegemite. Mum loves Vegemite,’ he joked, as he put a tiny bit of it on a baby spoon.

He then panned over to Sylvia, who nervously said: ‘Just a tiny bit. Not too much.’
Oscar was then seen turning-up his nose as he tasted the spread, which still divides Australians.

‘Yeah, exactly,’ Sylvia said, making her own sour face.
Oscar then chewed it before giving his parents a nervous smile. His reaction sent both of them laughing.
Sylvia marked her son’s 10-month milestone earlier this month, by taking a celebratory selfie with the tiny tot.

She captioned that adorable mum-and-bub portrait: ’10 months old!’ along with a picture of a bear.
In a second Story post, Sylvia showed off her growing baby bump while cradling her son.

In October, Sylvia, who married husband Peter, 38, in 2017, announced she is pregnant with her second child on Instagram.
Alongside a photo Peter holding up Oscar, Sylvia wrote: ‘When you find out you’re getting a best bud for life.
‘Oscar’s little brother due in April next year. We are so lucky,’ she added, tagging her husband.
