Liam Payne has given a rare insight into Christmas with his three-year-old son Bear.
In a clip exclusively obtained by MailOnline, the One Direction star, 27, said the festive season ‘has a different meaning since I’ve had my son’ and revealed he is in charge of cooking up a feast for his family on the big day.
The musician, who shares his only child with his former partner Cheryl, 37, sent a sweet message to his toddler for being a ‘very good boy this year’ in collaboration with Wizarding World’s Virtual Christmas experience, Deck The Great Hall.

During a Q&A, the Strip That Down hitmaker enthused: ‘Christmas has a different meaning since I’ve had my son. It’s all about the kids.
‘The best thing about Christmas is to connect with friends and family, if you can’t send a little message for Christmas, then when can you?’
Singer Liam, who is engaged to millionaire heiress Maya Henry, 20, detailed a typical Christmas Day with the Payne family as he added: ‘I’m in the Christmas spirit as per usual.
‘I’m usually the one who is doing the cooking. It’s a lot of fun seeing him watch out for Santa and shout up the chimney.

‘I’m getting through my Christmas list and part of the season is getting nervously excited about the fact that you haven’t got a lot done already.’
The media personality went on to present his mini-me with a virtual note, which stated: ‘My first floating Christmas candle message is going to be for my son Bear.
‘I want to tell him he’s been a very, very good boy this year and I hope you get everything you want for Christmas.’
The virtual doors of the Great Hall opened for fans to send seasonal messages to each other via floating candle and decorate the Hogwarts Christmas tree for the first time ever.

The hunk claimed it’s ‘not unusual’ for him to be ‘in and out’ of his kid’s life as he discussed in an interview with Tings magazine at the time, Liam said: ‘[Lockdown] it’s the longest I haven’t seen him [Bear] in his life.
‘But we discussed from the start and for different reasons, me and Cheryl decided I should be away for a little bit, it’s not unusual for me to be in and out of his life.He’s a quiet and chill child. He doesn’t worry about things too much.’
The couple split a year after their son Bear was born following two and a half years together.
In March, Liam admitted that missing his son Bear’s third birthday was the ‘hardest thing’ for him during the UK COVID-19 lockdown.
The For You singer made the ‘tough call’ as he worried that he had been ‘exposed’ to so many things by living in London.
