People have shared photographs where they look older as teenagers than adults – demonstrating how a new hairdo and make-up can take years off your appearance.
TikTok user Kactavish, believed to be from the US, started the trend when she shared a clip claiming she looked older as a 12 year old than at her current age of 24.
She joked she’s ‘aged backwards’ – referencing the film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, in which a man who began his life as a pensioner starts to look younger with each year that passes.
It wasn’t long before other people from across the globe jumped on the bandwagon and posted their own amusing examples, which have been collated in an online gallery by Bored Panda.
