Identical twins Nikki and Brie Bella, who gave birth to their sons within a day of one another over the summer, revealed they were planning a friends-only baby shower.
While the 37-year-old sisters ultimately had to cancel their celebration as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a new teaser from Thursday’s upcoming episode of Total Bellas showed the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding their guest list.
‘Nicole and I are going to put our list together, that we want for the baby shower, so don’t get mad if there’s people on there that aren’t invited that you wish were on there,’ Brie told her mom in the clip.

Nikki, then, interjected: ‘I kind of would rather do friends than family.’
The comment stuns their mother, Kathy Colace, who reminded her daughters they have a ‘large family’ that they’re ‘close to,’ especially their cousins.
Colace’s concerns didn’t faze the pregnant siblings, who insisted they weren’t ‘worried about it’ and ‘don’t care.’

‘I just think it’s going to cause family drama and feelings will be hurt,’ their mom stressed, as she urged them to rethink their decision.
In a confessional, Nikki, who shares her four-month-old with Matteo with her fiancé Artemovich Chigvintsev, said she previously ‘dreamed of a baby shower’ for years.
However, after speaking with her mom, she admitted to feeling ‘torn’ if she wanted to have one ‘anymore.’

Last month, the WWE sisters talked motherhood and postpartum depression with Katherine Schwarzenegger, 30, who gave birth to her first child Lyla with Chris Pratt in August.
After giving birth to her now three-year-old daughter Birdie, who she shares with husband of six years Daniel Bryan, Brie said she experienced PPD.
An isolated incident, as she shared that she did not experience the baby blues with her newborn, she theorized, ‘maybe it was being a new mom.’
The twins also revealed they are excited to have boys so close in age as Brie told ET, ‘Our boys are like twins. They might not look alike, but when they are together, it’s so cute. They’re like little brothers.’
