Former Married At First Sight groom Mick Gould has revealed exactly what he thinks of the show’s upcoming reunion special.

In a post on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the 34-year-old farmer revealed the choice words he had for producers when they asked him if he wanted to come back.

‘When they asked me to go on this MAFS reunion BS – I believe in f**k off at first sight,’ he wrote.

Mick famously appeared on last year’s season of Nine’s controversial reality show, where he was paired with Jessika Power.

He was forced to stay on in the experiment despite Jessika, 28, having an affair with fellow participant Dan Webb.

Mick was outspoken about his desire to leave the series, repeatedly voting to ‘leave’ during the commitment ceremonies.

‘Thanks for the opportunity. What a waste of three months,’ he wrote on Instagram in March last year after finally being released from the experiment.

Jessika later spoke about her ‘regret’ over hurting Mick during the show, apologising via a post on Instagram Stories in April 2019.

‘I have lot of regret and remorse with the choices I made in the experiment. The biggest regret was hurting Mick,’ she wrote.

‘He is one of the most genuine, funniest, kindhearted and down to earth guys you’ll ever meet and I was too immature and selfish to see any of that. I went into the experiment thinking I knew it all, but really I knew nothing!’

Mick has since moved on, and has been dating former Bachelor star Kayla Gray since September last year.

The Married At First Sight special is set to air on Nine sometime next year.

An insider told The Daily Telegraph on Monday that some of the participants hate each other so much, producers couldn’t believe they agreed to sign up.

‘There will be lots of fireworks… I don’t know how Nine managed to get them all in the same room,’ the source said.

According to the spy, the two-episode special will feature both lasting couples and fan favourites from past seasons.
