Keeping Up with the Clooneys! George Clooney jokingly pitches his own reality series with wife Amal to replace the Kardashian-Jenners on E!

Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney teased fans by suggesting reality cameras document his life with wife Amal Clooney and their three-year-old twins on Tuesday. 

While the 59-year-old actor was only joking as he pitched E! cameras film him and his family on Tuesday’s episode of Daily Pop, host Morgan Stewart looked thrilled by the prospect. 

‘So, I’ve got a new idea,’ the two-time Oscar winner proposed. ‘It’s E!, so I think this will fit perfectly. Just pitching it right now: Keeping Up With the Clooneys.’

Stewart quickly vocalized her approval and said: ‘Listen, we will take it any second. Any time you want to give us that, done.’

The playful banter about Clooney possibly stepping into the world of unscripted TV comes amid the imminent finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2021. 

Back in September, the Kardashian-Jenner family announced they were putting an end to their long-running show after 15 years.

‘I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years,’ Kim Kardashian wrote on Instagram, at the time. ‘This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.’

Season 19 of the reality show kicked off in September and the series will conclude with a 20th and final season next year.

Meanwhile, Clooney’s sci-fi outer-space thriller, The Midnight Sky, will be released to Netflix on December 23.

The Midnight Sky is based on the novel Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton and also stars Felicity Jones and David Oyelowo.

On a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he praised child actress Caoilinn Springall, who is featured in the film after saying they had budgeted for extra days to accommodate the first-time actress.

‘Every single thing we did with her was one take. I went to the other actors, ‘See that? One take, I don’t want to hear about your preparation,’ George joked.

The movie follows a lone scientist in the aftermath of a global catastrophe as he races to contact a crew of astronauts with a warning not to return to Earth.

He also revealed to Kimmel that his twins Alexander and Ella speak fluent Italian. 

‘We did a really dumb thing. Which is they speak fluent Italian at three, but I don’t speak Italian and my wife doesn’t speak Italian,’ George said.  

‘It’s terrible. We’ve armed them with a language,’ he complained half-heartedly.
