Delta Goodrem has received some negative backlash after it was revealed she’s ‘quit’ The Voice Australia.
The 36-year-old singer was trolled by The Voice viewers on Facebook after she said she was staying with Channel Nine and would be launching her own production company, despite Seven acquiring the rights to the show.
Viewers flocked to the social media platform to slam Delta, as one wrote: ‘Cannot stand her.’

Another added: ‘Thank God. I love Delta but could not stand how she carried on, on The Voice.’
Another cruelly wrote: ‘Great, she’s not on The Voice, so good reason to watch it with new judges.’
However, some fans were in Delta’s corner.

Earlier this week, Delta revealed that she’s staying at Channel Nine, despite it’s rival Channel Seven acquiring rights to The Voice, of which she has been a mentor on for years.
In several posts shared to her social media, the singer revealed that she has launched her own television production company, Atled Productions, with her ‘longtime partners and friends’ at the network.

Suggesting that she will not return to The Voice, the 36-year-old said she was excited about her ‘new chapter’, and her first project will be a televised festive special, Christmas With Delta.
‘This has been a dream for a very long time, and I’m so excited to share that I’ve launched my own production company, Atled Productions,’ she said in a post shared to Instagram on Sunday.
Delta added: ‘We’ve got some great things in development that I can’t wait to share with you soon!’
She also suggested that after eight years, her time on The Voice has come to an end.

She wrote: ‘What a ride we had red chair❤️! One of the most powerful gifts of my nine-year journey on The Voice has been finding my own voice amongst all of it.

Delta added she ‘wished everyone all the best for a great season ahead.’

After Nine failed to renew its contract for the 2021 season of The Voice, Channel Seven jumped on the licence very quickly.
