She has reunited with her Fantasy Island co-star Austin Stowell to film her latest movie The Hating Game.

She completed her casual attire with a vibrant red velvet duster jacket and chunky black Chelsea boots as she confidently strutted across the car park.

Lucy slicked back her brunette tresses in a tight ponytail and let her natural beauty shine through as she went make-up free for the daytime outing.

The TV star accessorised her look with a pair of round sunglasses and a large black shoulder bag, while taking the reins of her adorable pooch with a bright green lead.

She made sure to keep herself protected amid the Covid-19 pandemic with a white face mask decorated with stars.

Letting her Maltipoo excitedly wander across the car park, she softened up her grip on his leash as he smelled around.

Lucy is currently spending time in New York while filming rom-com The Hating Game, which is based on a novel of the same name by Sally Thorne.

She has kept extremely busy amid the coronavirus pandemic, as Lucy wrapped production on thriller Borrego last month.

The movie is about a botanist who, while doing research on plants in a small town, has to fight for survival after her character finds herself taken captive by a drug mule.

The film is based on a short film by Jesse Harris called Wind in the Night and is currently slated for release in 2021.

Speaking about her experience on social media she said that she was ‘having a hard time saying what this movie means’ to her, as she thanked the whole team from the bottom of her heart.

The Truth or Dare actress has also recently responded to backlash for the Pretty Little Liars reboot, saying she has nothing but well wishes for those involved in the project.

She is best-known for her role as Aria Montgomery on the hit Freeform series, which spanned seven seasons from 2010 and 2017.

Speaking about the reboot, Lucy said: ‘I sincerely wish everyone the best and I hope it’s a huge success.’

‘Some people get angry about a reboot, but I think it’s important to be supportive of up-and-coming artists. I’m curious to see what they do with it!’ she added.

The reboot is set in the same existing PLL universe, though in a new town called Millwood, with a new set of ‘Liars’ miles away from the original setting of Rosewood.

Millwood is described as a ‘blue-collar town’ that was nearly ripped apart by a series of devastating events 20 years prior.

The show will centre on a group of ‘disparate teen girls’ who are tormented by an unknown ‘Assailant’ who wants them to pay for the mistakes their parents made 20  years earlier.

The show, entitled Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, hails from executive producer/writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and co-executive producer/writer Lindsay Calhoon Bring(Chilling Adventures of Sabrina).

While Hale is looking forward to the reboot, others from the original series don’t share her enthusiasm.

Marlene King, who created the original show based on the novels by Sara Shepard, expressed her disappointment on Twitter.

When the project was announced in September, a fan posted on Twitter, ‘The bodies aren’t even cold yet,’ with King responding, ‘Literally. They are somewhere in the WB jungle.’

Executive producer Joseph Dougherty also tweeted out, ‘We finished three years ago. Our original boots are warm.’

None of the other original cast members – Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pietrese – have yet to comment publicly on the reboot.

The original series also spawned two short-lived spin-offs, Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, which both lasted just one season apiece.
